Augie Treats is a Hudson Valley bakery founded by formerly NYC-based chef and designer Nancy Booke. Seeking a life closer to nature, she moved with her family to a historic house in Pine Plains, New York . Having realized her childhood dream of raising chickens and finding her Newfoundland dog Augie, Nancy turned her attention to baking.
Friends and neighbors loved her signature granola and before long she was packing it up for sale in local markets. Customers raved, and Nancy built a large scale bakery at home to make Augie Treats available to all. Augie Treats' Granola is baked in small batches using carefully sourced ingredients, organic and local whenever possible. Augie Treats' spiritual leader and icon is Augie the Newfoundland.
Nancy is thrilled to be part of the thriving culinary and cultural scene in the historic Hudson Valley. Augie Granola is available at Murray's Cheese in the West Village and Grand Central Market, NYC; at Foragers Market in Chelsea and Dumbo, NYC; Sunflower Natural Foods Market, Rhinebeck, NY; Quattro Farm Store, Pleasant Valley, NY; Olde Hudson, Hudson, NY; Big Rock Farms, Stanfordville, NY; The Savory Pantry in Saratoga Springs, NY and Hot Springs, AR; Joppa Fine Foods, Newburyport, MA; The Egg at Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, NY; and at other fine stores throughout the USA.
